The Rolex Middle Sea Race is a highly regarded classic offshore and is regarded as a «never to miss» race.
The Royal Malta Yacht Club and the Royal Ocean Racing Club co-founded the race in 1968 and 2017 will be the 38th edition.
The race is a real challenge for skippers and crews who have to be at their best to cope with the often changing and demanding conditions.
The maxi 72 who participated are Momo and Proteus.
Unfortunately, for the adverse conditions of the racing field, both teams could not finish the race.
